A bit about me
Singer based in Cary, North Carolina — Carnatic and Hindustani classical, and the film music I grew up on.
I'm a singer based in Cary, North Carolina. Carnatic and Hindustani classical, and the film music I grew up hearing at home.
Most of my singing happens with other people — ensembles, community stages, and the long unglamorous hours in a practice room that make the rest of it possible. In 2026 that included the 19th ATA Conference & Youth Convention and a Triangle Area Telugu Association night closer to home.
I'm a freshman in North Carolina, so most of this happens around classes.

Carnatic vocal — raga alapana, swara prastharam and neraval.
A-grade artist with All India Radio, and a teaching line that runs back through Shri Annavarappu Ramaswamy to the parampara of Saint Thyagaraja.

Manodharmam — the improvised side of Carnatic, where the music stops being written down.
A-grade artiste of All India Radio and Doordarshan, doctorate in music from Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, and founder of the Sri Kartikeya Gana Sabha Trust.
